Teambuilding & Training Event 2011

This is a great chance when I as assigned to lead the Company Teambuilding & Training event when I just joined the company 2 months ago. The event served to bring people closer to each other, build tighter trust, create deeper understanding and help people to understand the value of teamwork in established circumstances. The activity was also leveraged to bring people fun and relaxing experience as part of the company's benefits.
 
In order to lead such an event to success, I first convened a team, engaging relevant people from all functions. We worked together for the event flow, action plan, supplier selection, and all the preparation steps. During the planning stage, there were lots of constructive debates that helped to end up with a marvelous plan where lots of new concepts and ideas were brought in and turned into practice.
 
All the organizing team members are fully engaged and they in turn successfully engaging others for subtasks. Each of us could really show at best our leveraged talents and we felt so blessed to be part of the team. We worked really hard and spent quality time for the event in addition to our daily work and we all felt it was great to do so.
 
The team's most remarkable achievements when the event finished were that we worked for a common goal with our full passion and heart, giving our colleagues unforgettable and brand-new moments, e.g. smooth logistics arrangement, team division named after the company's values, welcome dinner with splendid Hawaii dancing, food and atmosphere by the beach, treasure hunt big game with a series of fun and meaningful team tasks, wonderful gala dinner closing the event with thoughtful and profound experiences. 
 
The team is recognized for its efforts and quality work and the precious thing I have learnt through it that always remind me and grants me deeper inner strength is the belief in the values of solidarity, synergy and the outstanding outcome when people really work together. The event also reinforces that truthful leadership works really even in the most difficult situations when there are not enough trust or you are so new to a team.
 
I do trust that when you do something with all your heart, mind and the best good will of all, you’ll never fail.
